Bio

Erwin Radjinder Angad-Gaur

Born in The Hague in 1970 to a Hindustani father and Dutch mother, Erwin Radjinder Angad-Gaur has been immersed in both music and culture from an early age. After studying Art and Cultural Sciences in Rotterdam, he joined the producers’ trio Angad-Gaur, Smit & Anneveldt in 1996. His early career saw him producing for various artists, projects, record companies, and bands.

In 2002, Erwin embarked on a solo journey, releasing his debut album Just Another Millionaire as an independent artist, followed by a DVD (Homogeneous) and a second album, The World. These projects established him as a distinctive voice, blending introspective, ironic, and occasionally biting lyrics with eclectic pop/rock influences.

Following 2008, Erwin shifted his focus to writing prose and became deeply involved in advocating for musicians’ rights. He worked with the Dutch Musicians’ Union and co-founded Platform Makers (www.platformmakers.nl).

In 2020, he returned to songwriting, collaborating with renowned Dutch lyricist Henk Westbroek on the Boris van der Ham single Een Mooie Dag (2024) (Listen on Spotify).

Now, in 2024, Erwin is reuniting with some of his former collaborators to work on new Radjinder material, with releases planned for 2025/2026. Until then, fans can look forward to a series of remastered and remixed releases, beginning with Just Another Millionaire – Re-edited & Remastered, which is now available on all streaming platforms.

This updated version of Radjinder’s 2002 debut album features remastered tracks and re-edited versions, bringing a fresh sound to the original songs.

The re-release marks the first step in a year-long series of remastered singles and previously unreleased tracks, leading up to the next phase of Radjinder’s musical journey.

Stay tuned for more to come.
